Doosan unveiled its first in-house built mini excavators for the US market at its new product launch event in December. The company said following these 3 models, it will bring a 4, 6, and 8-ton machine in 2022 and 1.7, 1.9-ton models in 2023 along with its all-electric model.
All 3 models introduced are zero tailswing models with DoosanConnect telematics included standard for the first time. Future reduced and conventional swing models are also planned. The DX27, DX35, and DX50 all feature full glass doors, powerful HVAC systems, Bluetooth radios, and are available with a canopy option and a longer 51-inch stick option. The machines are all powered by Doosan engines with a better insulated cab and auto-shifting capability. All come with a 1-year, 1,500 hour warranty with available 5,000 hour powertrain extended warranty.
DX27Z-7
This model is a new size class for Doosan. The machine is only 60-inches wide and features a rearview camera, 3-foot 7-inch thumb-ready stick, and an 11.8-in undercarriage. Standard attachments include a coupler, bucket, and thumb with optional secondary hydraulic circuit available.
